This year’s Darwin Festival will host over 80 events, across 18 nights, and with time ticking, we encourage you to get down to Festival Park and enjoy the magic of what is described as Australia’s hottest winter arts festival before Sunday 22 August.


Colloquially known as the Dfest, the Darwin Festival is described as one of the top things to do in Darwin, and is a key event on many what's on in Darwin calendars during the dry season.

Festival Feasts

Enjoy the tropical ambiance of Festival Park each evening from 5pm with free live music and why not kick back with a Limited Edition Darwin Festival x Archie Rose Distilling Co 2021 Gin.  Indulge in a taste of the Festival with its delicious notes of juniper, native lime, orange and lemon myrtle. Or savour a taste of the Territory from a great range of local food vendors including Festival favourites Hanuman and Cucina Sotto Le Stelle, plus Bamboo Lounge, Phat Mango, Smokey J’s Brew and Damasquino Cafe & Restaurant.

  • Or for the sweet tooth, treat yourself to something yummy from Trampoline Gelato or Bumble Bean. Plus this year Darwin’s popular Pony & Sid catering are offering the option to pre-order a beautiful antipasto box for two or four people. You will need to get your orders in 24 hours before collection

    Wish Upon a Jellyfish by Territory Artist Aly De Groot

    Upon entering the park, it’s hard to miss the mesmerising Wish Upon a Jellyfish by Territory artist Aly De Groot. With over 100 illuminated creatures dangling from trees in the middle of Festival Park, each one makes for a perfect instagram snap!
